Ink Signatures

You are here:

Sintel Forms allow you to add handwritten signature fields to your form.

With this feature, you can save a hand-written note created with any touch device or using your mouse.

Step 1: Create a field to store the signature data

Signature data is being stored in a multi-line text field, with rich text formatting disabled.

Create a column of “Multiple lines of text” in the list. Make sure that it is using the “plain text” type.

We recommend removing the signature column from the list view in SharePoint to avoid cluttering the display.

Step 2: Add and configure the field in a form

  1. In Sintel Forms designer, drag and drop the field to the layout.
  2. Select the field, and check the “Use as signature” checkbox present in the field properties section.

3. Note that the display of the field will slightly change, indicating that it will be now used to store signatures.

If you cannot see the “Use as signature” options, please make sure that your multi-line text field has the “plain text” type selected.

You can now start using your signature field.
