External Access Settings

You are here:
What is it for

This feature is provided to allow you to secure your organisational information when working with External Users. It allows you to control whether the person type field (if used on the form design) is available, disabled or hidden from users outside of your organisation. The person type field can expose information such as name, email address, and other contact details about your users so we recommend that you do not make it available to external users by setting it to Hidden using this feature.

People picker behaviour

This setting allows you to configure any person type fields (if used on the form design) to be available, disabled or hidden from External users.

The ‘New form’ setting is enabled if the External Submission feature is enabled.

The ‘Existing form’ setting is enabled if External Collaboration or External Sharing is enabled.
