How Can We Help?

Donut Chart

You are here:

1. What is a Donut Chart?

Donut Charts, as the name indicates has a donut shape. They are pretty much the same as a pie chart, with a hole in the middle. It is often viewed as a modified pie chart. This chart is preferred over the pie chart because of its data intensity ratio and space efficiency. The hole in the middle of this chart is used to convey extra or additional information, like the total number of data or labels of the arc.

An example of a donut chart is given below, it shows the number of forms submitted which have been submitted, approved, rejected.
